Please read these Terms of Service carefully before using the CT Home Furniture website or placing an order. By accessing our website or making a purchase, you agree to be bound by these terms.

About CT Home Furniture

CT Home Furniture (also known as Chicco Thuli) is a bespoke furniture business established in 2015, based at 46 Sivewright Ave, Doornfontein, Johannesburg. We specialise in crafting high-quality, custom furniture using natural materials — serving both residential and commercial clients who value comfort, craftsmanship, and lasting quality in their spaces.

Our product range includes, but is not limited to: sofas, beds, dining tables, chairs, wardrobes, office furniture, and other custom-made home and business furnishings built to order.

Section 02

Products and Orders

All furniture is custom-made to order and may vary slightly from images shown on our website or social media pages.
Placing an order constitutes an offer to purchase. Orders are confirmed once we have acknowledged receipt and agreed on specifications.
We reserve the right to decline or cancel any order at our discretion. No payment is collected upfront — see Payment section below.
Product availability and lead times will be communicated at the time of ordering.

Section 03

Payment — Cash on Delivery Only

All orders are strictly Cash on Delivery (COD).

No online payments, card payments, or advance EFT payments are accepted. Full payment in cash is required at the time your order is delivered to you.

All prices are quoted in South African Rand (ZAR) and include VAT where applicable.
The price confirmed at the time of your order will apply — prices are subject to change without prior notice but will not affect already-confirmed orders.
Payment is due in full upon delivery. Goods remain the property of CT Home Furniture until full cash payment is received.
If payment is refused at delivery, CT Home Furniture reserves the right to reclaim the goods.

Section 04

Delivery

Delivery timelines are estimates and may vary depending on the complexity of your order and your location.
You will be contacted to arrange a suitable delivery date and time.
CT Home Furniture is not liable for delays caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
Please inspect your furniture at the time of delivery. Any visible damage or discrepancies must be raised immediately before the delivery team departs.
Risk of damage passes to the customer once delivery is completed and cash payment has been made.

Section 05

Warranties

Our furniture is crafted with quality natural materials and we stand behind our workmanship. Specific warranty terms will be communicated at the time of sale and depend on the product type.

Warranties cover manufacturing defects only and do not apply to damage caused by misuse, improper care, exposure to extreme conditions, or normal wear and tear over time. Your rights under the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 remain unaffected.

Intellectual Property

All Content Belongs to CT Home Furniture

Everything published on this website and across our social media platforms — including but not limited to product photographs, furniture designs, custom creation processes, branding, logos, written content, layout, and visual style — is the exclusive intellectual property of CT Home Furniture.

You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, republish, screenshot, download, or re-upload any of our content without our explicit written permission.
Our furniture designs are original, handcrafted works. Attempting to replicate, manufacture, or sell copies of our designs — whether for personal or commercial gain — is strictly prohibited.
Our brand name "CT Home Furniture" and "Chicco Thuli" may not be used in any context without written authorisation.
Using our product images for commercial purposes, advertising, or misrepresentation is a violation of our intellectual property rights and may result in legal action.
Sharing our content on social media is permitted only when CT Home Furniture is clearly and visibly credited as the source.

We take intellectual property seriously. Unauthorised use of our content or designs will be pursued to the fullest extent permitted under South African law, including the Copyright Act 98 of 1978.

Section 07

User Accounts

When you create an account on our website to place orders, you are responsible for:

Keeping your login credentials (email and password) confidential
All activity that occurs under your account
Notifying us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access to your account

We collect your email address and an encrypted password solely to manage your account and communicate order updates. We will never share your login details or ask for your password via any channel.

Account Deletion: You may request the deletion of your account and all associated personal data at any time by contacting our admin directly at 077 430 8690 via phone or WhatsApp.

Section 08

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by South African law, CT Home Furniture will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our website or products. Our total liability in any matter shall not exceed the cash amount paid by you for the relevant product.

Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of our services will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the South African courts.

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. The most current version will always be available on our website. Continued use of our website or services after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
